The
Academy Sports + Outdoors Distribution Center Expansion is well underway.
This is a 500,000 square foot expansion to an existing 1Million square foot
facility. The tilt panels are standing, the decking is nearing
completion, and the site is in great shape. We have about 15 men on site
this week. The kitchen addition to the existing lunch room will be
completed at the end of this month. To cut cost we are trying out some
air actuated fasteners as opposed to the traditional powdered actuated tools on
